As we see massive amounts of debt plaguing the West threatening their economies, the Euro-zone now, the so-called experts are saying, is going to collapse. The NATO alliance will be next. How does the Church of God know this? Isaiah 70 year prophecy!
Isaiah said 70 years would pass after the fall of Tyre (Rome), during the 6th head (reign) of the beast. This occurred in June 1944. 70 years at 360 days is 2013! In 2013 Tyre (Rome) will "...commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth." (Isa 23:17). This is the 7th head of the Beast! This is also the end of the phase of the "potters clay" and the start of the phase of the "miry clay." The Potters clay and the Iron is NATO and the EU! The miry clay is the next Holy Roman Empire! According to God's 70 year prophecy, NATO and the EU must come to their end in 2012 and the first part of 2013 before June!
What I find interesting, is with all these troubles that we see happening all around us, the West does not repent! They continue on the anti-God, anti-10 Commandments crusade, thinking that there are no consequences to their actions! As God says through Jeremiah, "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD" (6:15). God calls for them to look to the old ways, "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." (v.16). We will not listen. Instead we have taken the word of God out of the schools and government, and what replaces the word of God, the revelation of all that is good and righteous? Evil. The ways of man, of Satan! This is what replaces the word of God, when the Bible is taken out! Now we are seeing its effects. If we do not repent, then 2012 for the West will be a disastrous year for our people. As a watchman to our people the church must report the truth. Will they listen? According to the prophecies, NO! Again Jeremiah states, "Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken." (6:17). Israel has always rejected the words of God in their sinning condition, and because of this God declares, "Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.... Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it." (vv.18-19). This is the future of Israel (USA Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc...). This will be 2012 unless we hearken unto the words of Almighty God!
